while being a Modern Pentathlete, I experienced a very diverse level of popularity of our sport in different countries. In Hungary and Russia for instance it is very popular, while it is nearly out of the media in Germany or other countries. Sports, like Judo, Shooting or other will never adress the same big target group like Soccer or Formula 1 and therefore would never be in for the „big bucks“.

Have you ever heard of zorbing ? It is a great recreational sport, and by doing this website we were thrilled by the various numbers of sports there are and the passion people show for it all around the globe. Thats great!!
From my past experiences as an athletete I sensed that there quite a few people who are interested in seeing different sports and athletes and would like to take part in their motivation and inspiration whether it is a first 10k run, World Class Wheel Chair Marathon, Swimming or Cricket – but the amount of information is recently still limited by media settings.

Sportubes.com is our approach to bypass this situation of limited broadacsting. It is designed for every athlete, supporter and fan to tell his or her story, putting media (pics, videos) together and allows you to quickly share your results, stories and passion about your sport.

run at the world heritage site, the city of Bamberg – Running & Culture at once

…it was impressive, again. Together with other 1500 Runners we took the 21km through the UNESCO world heritage site, the city of Bamberg. Very beautiful, and with a marvelous audience of 40.000 spectators probably the best run I took part, ever – it even beats the Berlin Marathon, which is also a fantastic experience.
